BSO Koppelsteeg is located at sports park De Koppelsteeg in Berghem, in the clubhouse of Berghem Sport. We provide a dynamic environment where sports and children's freedom of choice are central. Our location is specially designed to offer children a place after school where they can move, play and relax. Thanks to our unique location at a sports park, we can make use of the extensive sports facilities available on site. This enables us to provide a varied range of activities where children can choose from different sports activities. We believe in the importance of exercise for children's development and therefore offer daily opportunities to be active. After-school care (BSO) Koppelsteeg in Berghem, part of AVEM Kinderopvang, was inspected on 9 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant. The unannounced annual inspection included document review, site visit, and interviews with staff. The location offers after-school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays for up to 30 children aged 7 to 13 years in the Berghem Sport sports complex. All assessed quality requirements were met, including pedagogical climate, staff qualifications, deployment of pedagogical policy staff, language of instruction, domestic violence reporting protocol, and duty to report, consult, and file. The pedagogical practice demonstrated sensitive and responsive interactions between staff and children. Previous inspections in 2023, 2024, and 2025 also proceeded without shortcomings. The provider responded positively to the report and regards it as a compliment to the team.
