About this care
Welcome to BSO De Fonkeling! Our after-school care has a homely atmosphere and consists of three groups divided by age. We offer children a wide range of activities with a focus on creativity, sports, games, and culinary themes. Children have access to the Weide Wereld gym every day.
Our BSO works in close collaboration with Kind&Co ludens. The pedagogical staff of Kind&Co ludens serve as teaching assistants in the educational process and also work at the BSO. This ensures familiar faces and a consistent pedagogical approach. We work on the same themes, coordinate with each other, and attend training sessions together.
The opening hours of our after-school care are: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30. On Wednesday and Friday, care is available at BSO Blink. We strive to offer daily after-school care in our new building at Teunisbloemlaan.
To guarantee a spot at our BSO, it's important to register your child early. Registration is handled through Kind&Co ludens.Read more

Summary
BSO Fonkeling in Berghem (AVEM Kinderopvang) provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 60 children aged 4-13 in three base groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 4 November 2025. All assessed quality requirements within the themes of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health are fully complied with. The pedagogical policy is worked out in concrete detail and is actively discussed with the team; staff act consistently in accordance with the policy, such as using an emotion meter after school hours. All staff members hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are correctly registered. The safety and health policy is up to date, risks have been mapped out, and measures are being followed (e.g., checking fences, supervising outdoor play). There is always at least one first-aid-qualified adult present. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality of Oss is advised not to take enforcement steps.
