Behind Kiddie

My name is Rosalie, 32 years old and the founder of Kiddie. I started in financial services, and then turned my passion into my work and worked for a kitesurf start-up for a few years. Since December 2024, I have been fully focused on setting up Kiddie. The idea for Kiddie originated during a dinner with friends, just at the kitchen table. Friends were looking for childcare and sighed about how time-consuming the process was. They also couldn't find a lot of information online. That should be easier, right..? People describe me as curious, a bit stubborn and straightforward. Not afraid to challenge the status quo. I take good care of the people around me, love cooking and eating, and enjoy being active outdoors. With Kiddie I want to be a reliable partner for both parents and childcare. Kiddie offers a fast and simple way to search, view and select childcare near you. You'll find all registered locations from the National Childcare Register, including locations you didn't know yet. In one place we bundle all the information you need: from GGD reports and summaries to photos.

No, Kiddie is a completely free tool for parents. You can view and use all information without any costs. For childcare locations, claiming and editing a location page is also free - they can create a profile for this via 'For providers' at the top right.

No, you pay exactly the same as when you contact the childcare location directly. Kiddie does not charge a commission and does not charge parents or childcare locations any extra costs. When you register at a location, the normal rates of that provider simply apply.

If you want to adjust the profile of your childcare or add information, sign up and claim your location. Click 'For providers' at the top right. Sign up by entering your details and claim your childcare by searching by address, postal code or the name of the childcare. When you have claimed a childcare, it will appear under 'My childcare'. As soon as our admin has checked your details (usually within 1 working day), you can adjust the page of your childcare. Need help? Please contact our team via info@kiddie.nl. We're happy to help!
