About this care
Welcome to BSO IKC Regenboog, the after-school care located at Lijsterlaan 2 in Oss. We are part of the Integral Child Centre Regenboog, where care and education blend seamlessly. Our BSO is designed for children aged 4 to 12 who attend the IKC Regenboog primary school.
Our core values are TOGETHER, FUN, RESPECT and TRUST, and they guide everything we do. We collect the children straight from their classroom at the end of the school day, giving parents peace of mind. After a healthy snack and some time to unwind, the children choose from three clear activity corners: Discover & Explore, Play & Move, or Relax & Chill. One child might head outside for football while another plays a board game or reads quietly.
During school holidays we are open all day from 07:30. Together with the children we create a holiday programme full of treasure hunts, creative workshops and sports days in our own garden. A warm lunch, fruit and drinks are included and we accommodate allergies and dietary needs.

GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 1 July 2026 at after-school care (BSO) IKC Regenboog in Oss, part of AVEM Kinderopvang B.V. The location provides care for 30 children aged 4 to 13 years in one base group. The inspection assessed pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. All assessed quality requirements have been met. The pedagogical practice showed strong points: staff communicate sensitively and responsively, apply clear rules and rituals, and promote emotional safety. Staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) declarations, and the pedagogical policy staff member is sufficiently deployed. Parents are involved in policy via the parent portal; there is no parent committee but active recruitment is underway. The complaints procedure is in order, with one complaint in 2026 that was handled correctly. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
