ViaViela mediates between parents and professional childminders (gastouders) in a homely, small-scale setting. The agency helps parents find a suitable childminder who matches their wishes and needs, with personal guidance from a fixed contact person in the region. Parents receive support with all administrative matters, can rely on quality monitoring through regular visits to the care location, and have access to a user-friendly online portal for their care administration.

ViaViela has 40 locations spread throughout the Netherlands, with a network of 225 contact persons across the country. The agency mediates childminders in all regions of the Netherlands and has personal contact persons in every region. Parents can always rely on a fixed contact person near them who knows the local area and the childminder network well.

ViaViela and all mediated childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). The agency is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD), and childminders receive a GGD inspection at their care location every two years. ViaViela visits childminders at least twice a year to check whether the location meets all safety and hygiene requirements. The agency has an internal complaints procedure in accordance with the Childcare Act and offers parents the possibility to formally submit complaints through an established procedure.

Our personal consultants in your region guide you through the entire process, from matching to progress meetings.

We offer flexible childcare options by the hour, either at the childminder's home or at your own home. All childminders are registered with the LRK (National Childcare Register) and meet the statutory quality requirements, with annual GGD (Municipal Health Service) inspections and risk assessments for safe and healthy childcare locations.

Beyond the care itself, we support you with practical matters such as applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag), a pedagogical helpdesk for parenting questions, and clear administration via our online system.

Our service area covers North Brabant, particularly the Eindhoven region and surrounding areas. Consultant Wilma Vosters works from Eindhoven and guides childminders and parents in this region. We also have a national network of consultants, enabling us to arrange childminder (gastouder) care throughout the Netherlands via our head office.

Gastouderbureau Roodkapje Meerhoven meets all statutory requirements for childminder (gastouder) care. We are registered with the LRK (National Childcare Register) (number: 238072794) and undergo annual GGD (Municipal Health Service) inspections. Our childminders work with current VOG (Certificate of Conduct) declarations, first aid certificates and risk assessments.

We are affiliated with the Stichting Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang (Childcare Disputes Committee Foundation) and have both internal and external complaints procedures. In 2024, we received the certificate from the Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang because no complaints had been submitted about our agency. In addition, we are members of the Landelijk Platform Gastouderopvang (National Childminding Platform), the Brancheorganisatie Kinderopvang (Childcare Sector Organisation) and the KennisNetwerk GastouderOpvang (KNGO) (Knowledge Network for Childminder Care).
