At Impuls Kinderopvang, we offer a warm and safe environment for children from 0 to 13 years old. Our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijven/KDV) are specially designed for the development of children aged 0-4, with a focus on positive development and creating equal opportunities for every child. We believe that play is essential for development; it teaches children how to interact with others and take on new challenges.
Our professional staff have a warm heart for children and are trained to recognize and support the needs of each child. We offer challenging programmes with VVE (Early Childhood Education) and BSO HIGH5, where activities focus on discovering the world and developing independence. For parents, we offer support with applications for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) and information about the preschool contribution.
With us, children can attend the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) from 12 weeks of age. We advise parents to register early, as the presence of a waiting list may vary by location. Summary
VVE De Vlugt is a half-day daycare in Amsterdam for children aged 2 to 4 years, part of Stichting Impuls. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 15 May 2025. The location provides preschool education using the Piramide programme and works closely with De Vlugt primary school. All inspected quality requirements are met. The pedagogical practice scores well: staff provide emotional security, stimulate personal skills and work with a clear daily routine. The play and learning environment is rich and language-focused. All staff hold appropriate qualifications and early childhood education (VVE) certificates. The safety and health policy is adequate, including measures for hot weather. There is one bachelor's degree-level staff member in the group; a second is being sought. Parent involvement is well organised through open play sessions, theme meetings and monthly parent evenings.
