Your child will always have something to see, discover, or do together with friends at the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) of Educatief Centrum De Regenboog in Nieuwdorp. Together with the primary school, we are located in a brand-new building. Convenient for you when brothers or sisters attend primary school. But also familiar and close by, when your school-age child comes to relax at the after-school care (BSO) after school! Thanks to the close collaboration with the primary school, there is a seamless transition for your child from daycare to primary school.
In the baby group, your baby receives the loving care and attention that he or she needs. On soft mats, your little one can learn to crawl, and he or she plays in the playpen with other babies. Your child meets their first friends at the daycare. However small your child may be, children respond to each other, recognize each other, and seek each other out.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) IKC Veerkracht Amsterdam on 2 September 2025. This was an investigation following an application for a new location, where no practice was assessed but documents and plans were reviewed. The location offers half-day care for a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4 years, based in primary school Veerkracht. Opening has been postponed until 1 February 2026 due to staff recruitment. The GGD concludes that the location will reasonably meet the quality requirements and recommends granting permission, provided all other statutory requirements are met.
