Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant conducted a registration inspection on 20 March 2026 at childminder (gastouder) Waalkens in Den Dungen, commissioned by the municipality of Sint-Michielsgestel. This concerns an application for a new childminder care (gastouderopvang) location with six childcare places for daycare and after-school care (BSO) on Wednesdays, for children aged 0-5 years. The childminder is already registered in the LRK with another location, therefore a shortened inspection was carried out. All assessed quality requirements have been met: general conditions, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and furnishings, and safety and health. The childminder is affiliated with childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Kids@home, holds a valid first aid certificate until April 2027, and has an adequate backup care arrangement. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The GGD advises inclusion in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
