Summary

GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted a registration inspection at childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Dal in Sint-Michielsgestel on 18 September 2026. The childminder, affiliated with Kids@home, provides after-school care (BSO) for up to six children at the requesting parent's address. Almost all areas met the legal requirements. One recovery offer was made because the childminder was unaware of the role of the Confidential Inspector and the obligation to report suspected abuse by the childminder agency. This was resolved during the discussion. The risk assessment was signed but not up to date: various safety risks were not adequately described or addressed, including a wood stove, unprotected power outlets, an accessible swimming pool and missing smoke detectors. These findings did not result in a recovery offer but do constitute points for attention.
