About this care
Peutercombi voorschool Bockesprong is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 who love to play together, learn new things and explore to the fullest. We are located in Brede School De Bockesprong at Theophile de Bockstraat 100 in Amsterdam Zuid. Our pedagogical staff are loving and caring, create a warm atmosphere and offer 'tailored adventure' with attractive activities and educational themes.
We work with a VVE program (preschool education) tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers. Activities focus on stimulating language development, social skills and independence. Think of reading aloud, singing, crafting and playing games, always in small groups so that each child receives the attention they deserve.
Outdoor play is of course part of the program. We have a spacious, safe outdoor area where children can run, cycle, build sandcastles and discover nature. The groups are horizontally structured, meaning children of the same age are together in one group. This promotes development and makes it easier to tailor activities to the children's level.
We offer childcare from Monday to Friday from 08:10 to 13:30 (40 weeks per year) or from 08:30 to 13:30 (52 weeks per year). For the 40-week group, a minimum attendance of three days per week applies due to a quality subsidy from the municipality. This allows us to maintain the quality of our care.Read more
GGD Inspection
Violations
Inspection date: June 6, 2026
Strengths
- Warm and responsive pedagogical climate with emotional safety for children
- Staff members playfully stimulate language, cognitive, motor, and social development
- Good structure and predictability for children
- Sufficiently qualified personnel with correct ECE certificates
- Rich play-based learning environment with thematic layout
- Active parent involvement through 'Home & Away booklets' and open play sessions
- Good provisions for first aid and knowledge of domestic violence reporting protocol
Violations
- Three temporary staff members were not linked to Stichting Combiwel voor Kinderen in the Personenregister Kinderopvang (PRK), but were linked to other labels within GMK. This is a repeated violation within the organisation since 2025. The employees were subsequently linked on 14 July 2026.
Summary
Peutercombi voorschool Bockesprong is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with preschool education in Amsterdam. The annual inspection on 8 June 2026 shows a predominantly positive picture of pedagogical quality. The staff members provide a warm, stimulating environment in which children are emotionally safe and are playfully challenged in their development. However, one violation was identified: three temporary staff members were not linked to Stichting Combiwel voor Kinderen in the Personenregister Kinderopvang (Childcare Personnel Register), but were linked to other labels within parent organisation GMK. This is a repeated violation within the organisation, and therefore no recovery offer was made. The location has since completed the linkages and has committed to evaluating its procedures.
