About this care
At Impuls Kinderopvang, we offer a wide range of childcare options for children from 0 to 13 years old. Our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) is specially designed for the youngest children from 0 to 4 years, where we create a safe and stimulating environment. We believe that play is essential for children's development. It helps them interact with others and take on new challenges. Our professional staff are trained to recognize and support the needs of each child.
We offer challenging programmes with Early Childhood Education (VVE) and after-school care (BSO) for children from 4 to 13 years. Our activities focus on discovering the world, independence and social interaction. We attach great value to a healthy lifestyle and provide healthy nutrition for the children. In addition, we support parents with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) and provide information about the preschool contribution.
At Impuls Kinderopvang, we strive for equal development opportunities for every child. We work together with schools, the neighbourhood and the municipality to embrace the rich diversity of backgrounds among children and parents. Kindercampus de Groeituin in Amsterdam, part of Stichting Impuls, was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 25 August 2025. The location provides daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) services with 76 places, including early childhood education (VVE) using the Uk & Puk method. The pedagogical climate is assessed positively: staff provide emotional safety, predictability, and adequately stimulate children's development. Two violations were identified. Firstly, no written transfer to primary schools was carried out; this was resolved through a recovery offer with a new checklist and step-by-step plan. Secondly, two children were incidentally placed in another core group due to staff shortage, which the location disputes. The GGD advises the municipality not to enforce for the resolved violation, but to enforce for the core group matter in accordance with municipal policy.
