Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Bockesprong, located at Theophile de Bockstraat 100B in Amsterdam. As part of Smallsteps, we provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our experienced team is ready every day to care for and guide your child with love and expertise. Music and movement are at the heart of our programme; we sing, dance and move together with the children to stimulate their development in a playful way. The location offers safe indoor and outdoor spaces where children can explore and play freely. We work in small groups, ensuring plenty of personal attention for each child. Summary
This follow-up inspection on 16 January 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Bockesprong in Amsterdam focused on stability of care, specifically care in home groups. A violation had previously been identified: children were not always cared for in their own home group. Following a formal notice (January 2025) and an administrative order for a penalty payment (June 2025), it has now been established that the location does meet the requirements. Children are cared for in their own home group; for exceptions, prior written parental consent is required. When staff shortages occur, care is refused rather than placing children in another group. The previous violation has thereby been terminated.
