Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Ukkiepuk in Zetten provides places for up to 57 children (ages 0-4) divided across four home groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 3 July 2025. All assessed areas — pedagogical climate and staff/groups — meet the legal requirements. The pedagogical policy is documented in writing, known to the team, and is being followed. All 17 childcare professionals and three permanent staff members are registered, hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), have an appropriate diploma, meet the language proficiency requirement (IKK), and have completed infant first aid training. The staff-to-child ratio is correct at all times, emergency backup staff are available, and children are assigned a maximum of two to three consistent caregivers. Each child has a mentor and experiences at most two group rooms per week. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality of Overbetuwe is advised not to take enforcement action.
