Sport BSO Fitkids in Herveld is a new after-school care location (BSO) that has provided care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 13 since August 2025. At the time of inspection on 20 October 2025, there were on average 5 to 8 children per day. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is positive: there is a pleasant atmosphere, children receive compliments, and clear agreements are made. The staff-to-child ratio is adhered to and a backup staff member is arranged. The accommodation in the SVHA sports canteen is more than adequate with 156 m² of indoor space and a large sports field outside. The parent committee has not yet been established, but the holder has six months from registration to do so. No violations were identified.
