At Skar, we believe that children thrive best in a warm and welcoming environment. With more than 60 locations in Arnhem and surrounding municipalities, we provide a safe and stimulating place where children can develop to their full potential. Our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) is suitable for children from 0 to 4 years old, while our after-school care (BSO) welcomes children from 4 to 13 years old. We find it important to build on what children can do themselves. Whether it's climbing, scrambling, taking initiative or laughing together, we give children the space to discover the world in their own way. Our pedagogical approach focuses on personal attention and creating an atmosphere where children feel at home. At Skar, we offer an extensive range of activities, including toddler care (peuterwerk) for children from 2 to 4 years old. Our locations are designed so that children can move freely and develop at their own pace. We attach great value to a good balance between indoor and outdoor activities, so that children are stimulated both physically and mentally.
