Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted a follow-up investigation at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) HIP in Brummen on 4 June 2026. This investigation followed shortcomings identified during the annual inspection on 23 March 2026 in the areas of mentorship and parent committee. In the Hippe Hippo's group, not all children had a mentor, due to children being transferred and the departure of a staff member. The parent committee regulations had also not been signed and contained incorrect provisions regarding working methods. The follow-up investigation showed that the provider has remedied both shortcomings: all children now have a mentor, and a correctly signed regulation has been established. The GGD advises the municipality of Brummen not to take enforcement measures.
