In the heart of Arnhem, in a fully renovated national monument that was once a coach house at Geert Grootestraat 6, you'll find Kindcentrum 't Koetshuisje. We are a very small-scale daycare center where a maximum of 15 children aged 0 to 4 years find their second home. Our permanent team of professionals ensures that each child receives the personal attention they deserve.
At 't Koetshuisje, we believe that childhood experiences stay with you for life. That's why we want children to experience as many wonderful things as possible with familiar, loving people around them and something new every day. New impressions, new challenges, new adventures - experiences where you learn and that help you develop into whoever you want to be.
Together with the children, we write the first chapters of their life story. That's what we want to give them. The child tells, we listen and help them on their way. Our approach is different and very special, exactly as we explain on our website, but of course it's best to discover it yourself by visiting us.
Our location is open all year round from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, except on official holidays. We offer a warm, homely environment where every child feels safe and loved.Read more

At the annual inspection on 24 March 2026, the location met all assessed quality requirements: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The staff are well trained, work according to the pedagogical policy and are familiar with the safety protocols. Concrete measures have been taken for child safety, such as supervision during nappy changing and storing cleaning products out of reach. The location has an active parent committee and a complaints procedure. In the preceding years 2023, 2024 and 2025, the holder received a recovery offer each year, always within the theme of safety and health or pedagogical climate. After each recovery offer, the holder met the set requirements. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified at this inspection.
