KDV Berenboel at Vrijeschool De Vijfster provides daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years. We offer childcare where security, warmth and love are central. We pay attention to the individuality and development of each child and offer children all kinds of activities. For example, we often bake bread rolls in the morning. Together with the children we knead the dough to make little buns that go into the oven. During lunch, the freshly baked rolls are eaten. Each group has its own living room where children play with natural materials such as wood, wool, cotton and silk. Our play materials are made as sustainably as possible. The children also love playing outside in our garden, where we take them on discovery tours to find insects, butterflies or flowers.
