About this care
KDV Beestenboel is located in a characteristic building at Kazerneplein in the heart of Arnhem. We provide professional daycare for 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment. Our spaces are bright and atmospherically furnished, making your child feel at home immediately.
Everything we do revolves around trust and personal attention. Our experienced pedagogical staff work with love and dedication on your child's development. We use a vertical group structure where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a cozy, dynamic atmosphere.
Our outdoor space is a true paradise for young explorers. The large playground at the front of the daycare features a sandbox, bicycles and ride-on cars. Additionally, we regularly take walks to see the animals on and around the farm - your child can get acquainted with horses, cows, rabbits and chickens. This natural environment offers endless opportunities for discovery and adventure.
We work with a VVE program (Pre- and Early School Education) through which we playfully prepare toddlers for primary school. Our parent-child workshops actively support you as a parent in your child's development. KDV Beestenboel is open 52 weeks a year from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended care available upon request.

Summary
A Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 2 December 2025 of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Beestenboel (SKAR B.V.) in Arnhem assessed the 'Early Childhood Education' (voorschoolse educatie/VE) component. The location offers 112 places across 7 core groups, of which 4 groups provide early childhood education using the Kaleidoscoop or Uk & Puk methods. In August 2025, three staff members (temporary and permanent) were found not to hold valid 3F certificates for Oral Language Proficiency and Reading. During this follow-up investigation, it was verified whether all relevant staff members now meet the 3F proficiency level. The location manager provided evidence that the permanent staff member in question has left employment, the temporary staff member is no longer deployed in early childhood education groups, and the second permanent staff member has since obtained the correct certificates. Spot checks over three recent weeks show that all 6 temporary staff members deployed and all remaining permanent staff meet the 3F requirements. The supervisory inspector concludes that the operator now complies with the legal conditions; no new violations or areas for improvement have been identified. The municipal executive board is advised not to take enforcement measures.
