Welcome to Kinderopvang Wytgaard De Lytse Twirre, a small-scale childcare center in Friesland's Wytgaard. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and offer care for children aged 0 to 13 years. Our location consists of two spaces: the BSO combined with the toddler group is housed in the school, and the childcare 0-4 years is located in the village hall De Twirre at Tjissema 6 and 8. We are a certified bilingual toddler and childcare center (Frisian and Dutch) and engage in many language activities to optimally stimulate children's bilingual development. Since February 2022, we have had a toddler group in school where we guide children who need Preschool Education using the Uk en Puk methodology. We ensure a continuous line together with the school. Children aged 0-4 are together in one group, which offers advantages such as siblings being together, no group changes when crossing age boundaries, and younger children learning from older children. Babies have a maximum of two fixed pedagogical staff members for familiarity and stability. We love outdoor play: skating in winter, pole vaulting in summer, and picnicking whenever possible. Indoors, we entertain ourselves with crafts, cooking, coloring, sports in the sports hall, and occasionally doing nothing. We border a beautiful outdoor space and have access to a sports hall and spaces in the school. Parents are closely involved with the child center as a whole. Some are involved in the parent committee and the KC council. Much communication takes place within the Social Schools portal. Our parent association organizes creative and theme-oriented activities.
