Childminder care (gastouderopvang) offers a homely atmosphere in a familiar environment, with flexible childcare hours and often more affordable than a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). Our childminders (gastouders) are well-trained, complete annual training and paediatric first aid, and are regularly checked by us and the GGD (Municipal Health Service).

Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Thuis van Huis is active in two regions: North Brabant (Southeast Brabant) and North Holland. Our team has staff in both regions for personal guidance. Our head office is located in Mierlo. We mediate between parents and childminders (gastouders) in these regions, where childminders (gastouders) can provide childcare in their own home or as a childminder at the parents' home.

Thuis van Huis works exclusively with registered childminders (gastouders) who meet all legal requirements. Every childminder (gastouder) is carefully screened by us and the GGD (Municipal Health Service), registered with the municipality, and included in the National Childcare Register (LRK). We carry out the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RIE) annually and the GGD can conduct inspections at any time. Childminders (gastouders) hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), appropriate diploma, and first aid certificate. We ourselves are registered in the LRK under number 149051232.

ViaViela mediates between parents and professional childminders (gastouders) in a homely, small-scale setting. The agency helps parents find a suitable childminder who matches their wishes and needs, with personal guidance from a fixed contact person in the region. Parents receive support with all administrative matters, can rely on quality monitoring through regular visits to the care location, and have access to a user-friendly online portal for their care administration.

ViaViela has 40 locations spread throughout the Netherlands, with a network of 225 contact persons across the country. The agency mediates childminders in all regions of the Netherlands and has personal contact persons in every region. Parents can always rely on a fixed contact person near them who knows the local area and the childminder network well.

ViaViela and all mediated childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). The agency is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD), and childminders receive a GGD inspection at their care location every two years. ViaViela visits childminders at least twice a year to check whether the location meets all safety and hygiene requirements. The agency has an internal complaints procedure in accordance with the Childcare Act and offers parents the possibility to formally submit complaints through an established procedure.

Gastouderland offers small-scale childminder (gastouder) care in a home setting, where a maximum of six children are cared for with personal attention for each child. As a parent, you benefit from flexible childcare hours that can be tailored to your working hours, including options for 24-hour care or irregular shifts. Your child sees the familiar face of the childminder every day, which provides a safe and secure feeling. Childminder care is a more affordable form of childcare than daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV), with a lower hourly rate and payment only for the hours actually used.

Our childminders are active in Eindhoven and various surrounding municipalities, so there is always a suitable childminder available near you. Gastouderland complies with the Childcare Act and is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders are qualified, hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and a Certificate of Conduct (VOG). Housemates over 18 and regular visitors are also screened via the Childcare Personnel Register. The care locations are checked annually for safety and hygiene through risk assessments. Gastouderland has an internal and external complaints procedure and is a member of the Disputes Committee. Parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) because all childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register.
