About this care
BSO De Heksenketel is located in the heart of Raamsdonk and provides before- and after-school care for children attending De Hoge Waai primary school. We welcome children aged 4 to 12 in a homely and safe environment where they can unwind after a busy school day.
On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons our group is based on the upper floor at Bergenstraat 1. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons we join the daycare centre De Toverfee at Bergenstraat 1-3, ensuring we always have enough space and play opportunities. Before-school care always takes place downstairs, allowing parents to drop off their children calmly before heading to work.
During school holidays we review the number of registrations and, together with De Toverfee, choose a suitable location. We often run a combined programme, but sometimes operate from the community centre so that we can always offer a familiar place.
Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a pleasant afternoon of rest, play and companionship. We use the Parent Portal on Kindplanner for registrations and are available via WhatsApp for direct contact with parents whenever needed.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) De Heksenketel in Raamsdonk on 18 May 2026. The after-school care accommodates a maximum of 16 children aged 4 to 13 years. In the areas of pedagogical climate, staffing and groups, and safety and health, the location meets all legal requirements. Two violations were identified regarding parental rights: the parent committee was not properly established (no local committees for all locations) and the complaints procedure lacked essential legal elements. Both violations were resolved following a recovery offer from the GGD. The provider corrected the shortcomings within the set deadline (1 July 2026). The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
