BSO Kubus

Kindcentrum Academia is a growing childcare organisation in Schiedam. We offer both daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children from 0 to 4 years and after-school care (BSO) for children from 4 to 12 years. Our childcare is focused on providing a safe and healthy environment where children can develop optimally. At our daycare center, the needs of the child come first. We work with vertical groups, which means that children of different ages are cared for together. This promotes social development and ensures a natural transition between the different developmental stages. Our childcare staff are skilled and provide a warm and stimulating environment. For our after-school care, we offer a homely atmosphere where children can relax after school and gain new experiences. We offer a varied range of activities, including sports, crafts, cooking and nature workshops. Our BSO is open during school weeks and school holidays, so parents can be flexible in their childcare needs. We work closely with our partners within the Integraal Kindcentrum (IKC) to provide a continuous developmental line for children. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Pyramid programme, which focuses on stimulating the broad development of children. We believe in the power of playing, learning and discovering, and strive to give every child the best possible start.
