About this care
Welcome to BSO De Bizons, our small-scale after-school care centre located at Hoofdweg 51 in Loenen. We provide before-school care (VSO), after-school care (NSO) and holiday care for children aged 4 to 12, operating from the same premises as day-care centre De Wigwam.
Our qualified staff pick the children up from school every day and guide them in small groups. Once we arrive at the centre the children enjoy a communal packed lunch, followed by some quiet time or free play. Each afternoon we offer a structured activity: when the weather is nice we head outside for games and exercise, indoors children can do crafts, play games or watch a little television. Parents can collect their children from 16:00 onwards; supervision is guaranteed until 18:30.
Safety and personal attention are our top priorities. All staff hold valid first-aid certificates, have passed a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and take part in an annual evacuation drill. We use the Kov-net app, allowing parents to register absences, request swap days and read the online daily report. - The holder failed to notify the municipal authority immediately of the change in legal entity (from general partnership [V.O.F.] to private limited company [B.V.]), as a result of which the after-school care (BSO) has not been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) since 31 March 2026 (Article 1.47(1) Childcare Act)
- Due to the missing LRK registration of the B.V., the director and staff have not been linked to the holder in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK), meaning no continuous screening has been possible since 31 March 2026 (Article 1.50(3) and 1.48d(3) Childcare Act)
- Due to the deregistration of the V.O.F., membership of the Childcare Disputes Committee (Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang) has lapsed (Article 1.57b, 1.57c(1), 1.60 and 1.60c(1) Childcare Act)
Summary
On 24 April 2026, Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) De Bizons in Loenen. The inspection was prompted by a change request from the holder (koo-De Wigwam) to alter the legal entity from general partnership (V.O.F.) to private limited company (B.V.). The inspection reveals that this change was not reported immediately, meaning the childcare location has not been correctly registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) since 31 March 2026. Consequently, the director and staff have not been linked to a registered holder in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK), preventing the mandatory continuous screening. The deregistration of the V.O.F. also caused membership of the Childcare Disputes Committee to lapse. The holder acknowledges the shortcomings and states that the necessary steps have been initiated; on the date the report was finalised, the Disputes Committee had already been reinstated. The GGD advises the municipal executive to reject the change request.
