About this care
BSO De Witte Tovertuin is located at Hoofdweg 247 in Bellingwolde and is part of the De Witte Tovertuin childcare centre. We provide after-school care for 40 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is designed to offer a familiar, safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish after school.
All our childcare professionals are experienced and fully qualified in accordance with the Childcare CAO. They hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), a First Aid for Children certificate (EHAK) and an Emergency Response Officer (BHV) diploma. In addition, they are certified in the child abuse reporting code. Continuous screening through Justis ensures that all safety requirements are met. The team is known for its commitment and passion for the profession, ensuring every child receives personal attention.
We provide our own transport service with dedicated drivers for picking up and dropping off children. The drivers wait at a fixed spot on the school playground wearing a recognisable yellow jacket, making it easy for the children to find them. This creates calm and consistency at the start and end of the childcare day.
Parental contact and the well-being of your child are central to our approach. We believe it is essential that you as a parent can entrust your child to us with peace of mind. More information about our pedagogical vision and the way we organise our care can be found in our pedagogical policy plan.Read more

Summary
BSO De Witte Tovertuin in Bellingwolde is an after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children (ages 4β13), located in a converted farm barn. At the annual inspection on 23 April 2026, the location met most quality requirements. Strong points include the Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) registration, the staff register, and the provision of information to parents. However, there was a shortcoming in the pedagogical policy plan: the description of the age composition per base group and the nature of activities outside the base group were insufficiently concrete. The provider made use of the recovery offer and submitted sufficiently revised documents on 2 September 2026. As a result, the violation has been resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
