About this care
BSO Bosrijk Dependance is an after-school care location operated by SKAR, located at Eduard van Beinumlaan 28 in Arnhem. Since May 14, 2024, we provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12. Our theme is nature, and this is reflected in everything we do. Situated in a green area, children can relax, play, and explore after school.
Our pedagogical approach focuses on independence, creativity, and collaboration. We work with small, mixed-age groups so children can learn from and support each other. Our staff provide structure while also encouraging initiative. We believe in the importance of outdoor play, nature experience, and developing social skills through play.
Activities range from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures like building huts, searching for insects, and forest walks. We regularly organize excursions in the local area. There’s always something to do, and children are free to choose their activities. We offer healthy snacks and drinks in a safe and homely environment.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO Bosrijk-dependance in Arnhem on 13 July 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of Skar B.V., is located in primary school De Zyp and is registered for 20 children. The location meets all quality requirements following two recovery offers. The first violation concerned the care of 23 children without amending the registration; the holder reduced this number to a maximum of 20 within three days. The second violation concerned an incomplete pedagogical work plan for multi-location care, which was amended within four weeks. Other aspects (staff, accommodation, pedagogical climate) were compliant immediately. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
