About this care
At Villa Vrolijk Childcare in Soerendonk, we create an environment where children feel just as comfortable as at home. Because only a child that feels good can grow and develop in a balanced way. We feel strongly connected to Soerendonk and are actively involved in local activities.
Our daycare center at Dorpsstraat 2 provides care for up to 34 children aged 0 to 4 years. We collaborate with nearby primary schools. Regularly, a pedagogical staff member accompanies some of the oldest toddlers to participate in kindergarten classes for a few hours. When children are about to start school, a (written) transfer takes place if parents wish.
We offer a safe environment where children can develop creatively through educational activities. Our location is situated in a central place in the village of Soerendonk, visible from the main road from Budel to Maarheeze. GGD Brabant-Zuidoost conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Villa Vrolijk Soerendonk on 25 March 2026. The reason was a change request to expand the number of childcare places from 34 to 43. The inspection showed that the location meets all quality requirements in the examined domains: general conditions, pedagogical climate and accommodation. However, the indoor space is suitable for a maximum of 42 children, making the requested expansion to 43 unfeasible. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to partially grant the change: allow the new core group 'De Maantjes' and expansion of the baby group, but with a maximum of 42 places instead of 43.
