About this care
Welcome to Kinderopvang De Vlindertuin, a small-scale daycare centre in Soerendonk. Christel Driessen started her own daycare in September 2012, after 20 years of experience as a pedagogical employee and childminder. De Vlindertuin offers care for children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group (De Vlinders, max. 16 children), located in a bright basement room with its own sleeping room and toddler toilet.
The location is on the edge of the village, in a rural, wooded area near nature reserve 't Goor. Outside there is a large play area with pathways, hiding spots, a barefoot path, and animals such as chickens, doves and rabbits. The pedagogical vision is partly based on Emmi Pikler, focusing on respectful care and freedom of movement. The team of experienced staff have specialisations in baby massage, dance and expression, creativity, singing, language and interaction skills.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:00, 48 weeks per year. The hourly rate is €6.84. Care is flexible: you pay per hour, only for the hours your child actually attends. Bread meal, milk, fruit, snacks, juice and yoghurt are included. Nappies, bottle feeding, diet food and vegetable meals are not included. De Vlindertuin is registered in the national childcare register, entitling you to childcare benefit.
