Welcome to Villa Kakelbont Peize, our warm and homely daycare center located at Hoofdstraat 54A in the heart of Peize. We provide care for up to 24 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two family groups. Our Scandinavian-inspired vision with a touch of Reggio Emilia is central to everything we do. We believe that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. At our center, everything revolves around homeliness and small-scale care. We work with vertical groups where children of different ages play together and learn from each other. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and challenging environment where children can discover, play and grow. We follow the Reggio Emilia approach, where we encourage children to communicate in various ways - not only with words, but also through music, movement and creative expression. Our location features a spacious garden where children can play and explore to their heart's content. We offer outdoor sleeping and have special sleeping areas for the youngest children. The layout is designed so that children can do and discover as much as possible by themselves. We work with flexible contracts, allowing parents to choose half or full days, starting from 2 half-days or 1 full day per week. We value cooperation with parents highly. We are an extension of your family and align our care and activities with what your child needs. We use transfer forms and have ten-minute conversations to properly track each child's development. We also offer toddler activities as preparation for primary school. Villa Kakelbont Peize has been officially registered since January 1, 2010 and meets all legal quality requirements. We are supervised by GGD Drenthe and work according to our pedagogical policy plan that applies to all locations, supplemented with specific attention points for our location in Peize.
