Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids works exclusively with childminders (gastouders) who are registered in the National Childcare Register and have been approved by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Our intermediaries regularly visit the childcare locations to check whether all safety requirements are met. We carry out annual risk assessments and evaluate the childcare with parents and childminders. The agency has a pedagogical policy that all childminders work according to and offers pedagogical support through its own pedagogical staff. We receive annual inspection visits from the GGD.

Summary
GGD Fryslân conducted a registration investigation on 8 September 2026 at childminder Sayed (G. Al Sayed) at Bloemkamp 13 in Drachten. The care is arranged through childminder agency 4Kids and accommodates a maximum of 6 children aged 3 to 11 years. The investigation assessed registration, pedagogical climate, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and qualification requirements, premises, and safety and health. The childminder was found to meet all assessed inspection items. However, it was found that the first aid certificate initially did not meet the qualification requirements for first aid to children. Following contact with the childminder agency, the childminder attended a new course and a valid registered certificate was received on 21 September 2026. The continuous professional education (7 hours) and coaching (3 hours) do not need to be completed until 2027. The supervisory body advises the Municipal Executive to include the childminder in the National Childcare Register.
