That's why we carefully search for a childminder who not only meets all legal requirements, but also shares the same parenting values as you.

Our personal guidance begins with an introductory meeting at your home, where we discuss your wishes and needs. We then search for the most suitable childminder and arrange an introduction at the childminder's home. We ensure a warm transition with a settling-in period (wenperiode) of one month, so your child can gradually get used to their new environment.

We handle all administrative matters, including support with applying for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag), invoicing, and contracts. You have one dedicated point of contact and can count on quick decisions without waiting times.

Gastouderbureau Co-Kidz operates from Drachten and works throughout the North of the Netherlands. We mediate for childminders in Friesland and surrounding regions, with a focus on personal, local childcare close to home. Our childminders are spread across various places in the region, which means we can find a suitable childminder nearby for most families.

We understand that proximity is important for both parents and children, which is why we strive to find childminders located within a reasonable distance from your home or work. This makes dropping off and picking up your child practical and straightforward.

Gastouderbureau Co-Kidz is an officially registered agency in the National Childcare Register (LRK: 278400206) and registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK: 96094362). All our childminders meet strict legal requirements, including a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), first aid certificate, and registration in the LRK.

We carry out regular inspections and home visits at childminders to safeguard the quality of childcare. In addition, the municipal health service (GGD) inspects the childcare annually. We operate a transparent complaints procedure whereby complaints can be submitted within two months of arising and are handled within four weeks. For unresolved complaints, parents can turn to the Childcare Disputes Committee.

Our pedagogical policy plan describes our characteristic way of interacting with children and their parents, and we work in accordance with the legally mandatory reporting code for child abuse.
