This inspection report concerns an unannounced registration inspection on 21 August 2026 at childminder Miedema Welvering in Rottevalle, conducted by GGD Fryslân on behalf of the municipality of Smallingerland. The inspection took place under the 'Strict at the Gate' (Streng aan de Poort) programme, whereby the childminder is thoroughly examined before being included in the National Childcare Register. The childminder meets all assessed inspection items in the domains of registration, pedagogical climate, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)/expertise/qualifications/language requirement, spaces and safety, and health. The care is provided through childminder agency W-care, with 6 childcare places for 3 children aged 5 to 10 years. The childminder holds a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), is registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang), has appropriate qualifications and a first aid certificate, and speaks Frisian with the children in her care. The indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and appropriately furnished, and the location is smoke-free. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
