Summary

This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Koenen at Sneeuwhaasstraat 42 in Nijmegen. The childminder, Debby Claudia Susan Koenen, has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2016 and currently provides childcare at two other addresses. The new facility is intended for a maximum of six children (daycare and after-school care) and will commence on 1 September 2026. The inspection took place on 10 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gelderland-Zuid. The childminder and location meet all requirements for registration. No violations were identified. The pedagogical plan is largely complete, but still lacks a description of the indoor and outdoor layout and play materials; the childminder will supplement this before the start date. The outdoor space is temporarily unavailable due to works. All safety measures from the risk assessment have already been implemented.
