We arrange all administration around childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) and ensure continuous pedagogical support for our childminders (gastouders).

Gastouderbureau Gemoederlijk is active in the Achterhoek and surroundings. Our childminders (gastouders) provide care in and around the following municipalities: Aalten, Berkelland, Bronckhorst, Montferland, Doetinchem, Duiven, de Liemers, Lochem, Oude-IJsselstreek, Oost-Gelre, Winterswijk, Westervoort, Zevenaar and Zutphen. We are the childminder bureau (gastouderbureau) in the Achterhoek and feel connected to this beautiful region and its values.

Gastouderbureau Gemoederlijk is inspected annually by the GGD (Municipal Health Service) and all inspection reports are publicly available on our website. Our childminders (gastouders) also receive regular checks from the GGD, sometimes unannounced. We are affiliated with the Disputes Committee for Childcare and Toddler Playgroups (Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang en Peuterspeelzalen) and have a complaints procedure. Parents can participate in our parent committee to contribute ideas about quality, pedagogical policy, safety and prices. Our LRKP number is 207294847 and we are registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 68335512.

At Villa Kroost, we believe personal attention and a homely atmosphere are important. As a parent, you receive a dedicated contact person who guides you from the start of your childminder (gastouder) care arrangement. We work with fixed, low placement fees of €38.50 per month per family, so you never face any surprises. Our childminders are visited at least twice a year to monitor the quality of care, and we have contact with parents about the care at least once a year. We believe it is important that there is a good connection between parents and childminder, which is why we organise introductory meetings at your home.

Villa Kroost is active in the eastern part of Gelderland, particularly in the Achterhoek and Liemers regions. The agency has deliberately chosen to work with childminders in this area because the founders live there themselves and can therefore be close by and involved. Childminders mainly come from Gelderland, particularly from the Achterhoek/Doetinchem region. The service area includes both daycare for children aged 0-4 and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4-12.

Villa Kroost is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 210758855, which means childminder (gastouder) care through the agency qualifies for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). The agency is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) for compliance with the Childcare Act. All childminders must meet legal requirements such as an MBO-2 diploma in Helping (Care and) Welfare, a recognised First Aid for Children certificate, and a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG). The agency sets additional quality requirements for childminders.
