Welcome to Uk & Ko 't Riet, our daycare center located at Laan der Verenigde Naties 88 in Ede. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. With a maximum of 32 places, we keep our groups small and personal.
At Uk & Ko 't Riet, we work with a permanent team of experienced childcare professionals who care for your child with love and attention every day. We make conscious choices in our care: we serve fresh fruit and vegetables daily, use sunscreen from Dr. Jetske Ultee for sensitive children's skin, and offer the Nijntje Moves program for motor development.
Our location features its own outdoor playground where children can play and explore safely. The spaces are designed to challenge children in their development, with different areas for play and relaxation. We closely follow each child's development and tailor our activities accordingly.

Summary
Stichting Uk&Ko 't Riet in Ede is a toddler daycare center (peuteropvang) for up to 32 children, located in the same building as a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) operated by cooperation partner Uk&Ko. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the location on 6 July 2026 and assessed all areas as satisfactory: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The toddler daycare center provides early childhood education using the 'Bas in de Klas' program. The staff demonstrate sensitive pedagogical practice, stimulate children's development, and ensure warm handovers with parents. All employees hold the required qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). In November 2025, a recovery offer was issued for handwashing in accordance with the safety and health policy; this has since been resolved and was found satisfactory at the current inspection. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified.
