SportBSO Stalland in Sint-Annaland is an after-school care (BSO) for 30 children aged 4–13, located in primary school De Casembroot. The unannounced inspection by GGD Zeeland on 1 June 2026 showed that the location largely meets the quality requirements. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: childcare professionals respond sensitively, provide structure, and stimulate children's development. Three violations were identified for which a recovery offer was made: the pedagogical work plan did not concretely describe merging with another location, a childcare professional was not linked in the Childcare Personnel Register, and the safety policy did not correspond with practice regarding first-aid-qualified staff. All three shortcomings have been resolved. The GGD advises the municipality of Tholen not to take enforcement measures.
