About this care
Welcome to Kinderopvang Stap Voor Stap, located at Molendijkseweg 7 in Sint-Annaland. We are a small-scale, private after-school care facility (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. With a maximum of 11 children per group, we provide a home-like environment where every child is given the space to grow at their own pace.
Our after-school care is flexible and tailored to the needs of working parents. We pick up children from primary school and ensure they have a relaxed and safe afternoon. Our qualified staff are always ready with a listening ear, a game, or a creative activity. We believe it’s important that children feel seen and heard, and that parents can leave their child with us with peace of mind.

GGD Zeeland conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection on 20 April 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Kinderopvang Stap Voor Stap in Sint-Annaland, commissioned by the municipality of Tholen. The inspection focused on two earlier violations from February 2026: not operating in accordance with the pedagogical policy (missing parental consent for the second base group and deviating opening hours for the combination group) and not ensuring stability of care (children in the second base group without consent). This follow-up inspection found that both violations have been resolved. Consent forms are now correctly in place and the pedagogical policy has been revised.
