Summary

The annual inspection of 14 August 2026 of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) RIANT Wold in Lelystad shows that the location does not meet all legal requirements. Two serious shortcomings have been identified, one of which involves recurrence. The baby group 'De Koala's' has insufficient visible and accessible play materials and an unclear layout. This is a repeat of an earlier recovery offer from 28 August 2025. In addition, the indoor climate in the sleeping areas is inadequate: excessively high temperatures were measured (23-24°C), staff have insufficient knowledge of safe sleeping guidelines, and the ventilation could not be verified. The provider did take immediate measures following the inspection, including installing CO2 meters and ordering new play materials. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Lelystad to enforce.
