About this care
Peuterschool Seva is located in the right wing of the school building at Abraham van Beyerenstraat 56-58 in The Hague. As part of Seva Kinderopvang, we provide care and development for children aged 2 to 4 years. We work closely with the adjacent Shri Vishnu School, allowing our children to become familiar with the school environment from an early age.
Our preschool offers a safe, homely atmosphere where children can play and learn under professional guidance. We implement a preschool education program (VVE) focused on language development and preparing toddlers for primary school through play. Activities are tailored to the age and developmental stage of the toddlers, with special attention to social skills and independence.
We offer both half-day and full-day care, allowing parents to choose what best suits their situation. For parents who wish to use our pickup and drop-off service, this is available to ensure a smooth combination of work and care. We also provide the option of vegetarian meals.
Our location is equipped with various play areas and developmental materials that invite discovery and play. We work with permanent staff who know the children well and provide a familiar foundation. Summary
Peuterschool Seva in Den Haag was subject to an unannounced annual inspection by the GGD Haaglanden on 15 July 2026. The location, housed within the Shri Vishnu Basisschool, provides toddler care (peuteropvang) for up to 32 children aged 2.5 to 4 years, divided across two core groups. The childcare operates from a Hindu foundation and provides pre-school education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) through the Piramide Digitaal programme. In all areas examined – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights – the location meets the legal requirements. No violations were identified and no areas for improvement were marked. The parent committee is satisfied with the pedagogical practice. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
