About this care
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Waterrijk in Biddinghuizen offers children aged 0–4 a safe, loving environment to play, learn and grow. With toddler care (peuteropvang) Woelwaters and after-school care (BSO) Spetters under one roof, there is always a familiar face, close connections between groups and a seamless transition from one phase to the next. Your child will have plenty of room to play, discover and develop at Waterrijk, both indoors and outdoors. This is available at our baby group (0–2 years) and toddler group (2–4 years). Because the groups work closely together, the move from baby to toddler feels completely natural. Strengths
- Warm and supportive interaction between staff and children

- VE program Piramide is clearly visible in practice with thematic work
- All VE staff hold the correct qualifications and language proficiency level 3F
- Sufficient staff and correct staff-child ratios in all groups

- Appropriately designed indoor spaces with challenging play corners
Shortcomings
- Outdoor area slopes downward, preventing children from safely cycling/scootering for motor development; expansion or leveling would be desirable
Summary
Peuteropvang Dribbel in Dronten, part of Stichting Kinderopvang WildeWijs, received an unannounced visit on March 23, 2026 for the annual inspection. The location provides care for a maximum of 48 toddlers aged 2-4 years, divided across 3 home groups. Preschool education (VE) using the Piramide method is offered in 2 groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all assessed requirements. The pedagogical practice is of good quality: staff provide warm, individual attention, read books interactively, and stimulate language development. There is one point of attention: the outdoor area slopes downward, preventing children from safely cycling or scootering for their motor development. Expansion would be desirable but, according to the location, is not possible per the municipality; the GGD has raised this with the municipality of Dronten. There was a minor administrative issue regarding a language certificate, which could be resolved later.
