About this care
Kinderdagverblijf De Guppies, located at Het Zwarte Water 77 in Dronten, offers a warm and trusted place where children aged 0 to 4 can grow and develop in safety and security. From mid-2025, both our daycare and after-school care will be housed under one roof, allowing children to keep the same familiar environment and giving parents peace of mind.
Our daycare consists of six vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. Spacious, bright rooms and a large garden invite exploration and movement. We follow a fixed daily rhythm with clear routines, creating predictability and structure so every child feels at home.
Development-focused activities such as toddler yoga and toddler dance stimulate curiosity and creativity. In the mornings we open the doors between groups so children can join shared activities suited to their developmental level. Our experienced pedagogical staff provide personal attention; we work with consistent faces in each group so every child is seen and known. We sing, dance, craft, read, dress up, cuddle and play with patience and love.
Parents can choose from various care packages—fixed days or flexible care—to suit their family situation. We are happy to think along with you. Strengths

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 9 March 2026 concerns a follow-up investigation into daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Guppies in Dronten, which has been located at the new address since July 2025. The inspection followed a post-registration investigation on 21 October 2025 in which shortcomings were identified. Most violations have since been sufficiently resolved, including the deployment of pedagogical coaching, emergency procedures, mandatory reporting/consultation/notification obligations, and information to parents. However, two violations remain insufficiently resolved: the pedagogical policy still lacks concrete frameworks for deviating from staffing requirements and for ensuring emotional safety when a fixed staff member is absent. The safety and health policy has also not been updated within the required three-month period after opening. The holder is working with an external 'pedagogical house' to resolve this.
