About this care
KDV Janneke is a well-established daycare centre in the heart of Dronten, located at De Ketting 16. Since 2 January 2005 we have been providing day care for up to 32 children aged 0–4 under the umbrella of Stichting Kinderopvang WildeWijs. Our site is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 915954965), allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
Our pedagogical approach is tailored to the developmental stages of young children, emphasising learning through play, safety and individual attention. In partnership with the municipality of Dronten and GGD Flevoland, we meet all national quality standards and are subject to regular inspections. We also offer early childhood education (VE), giving children an early boost in language and communication skills.
Our spacious, bright group rooms feature dedicated corners for reading, creative activities and quiet naps. Outdoors, children enjoy a secure playground where they can run, explore and play with natural materials. A consistent team of qualified pedagogical staff ensures every child is known personally and supported in their development.

Strengths
- Staff members work consciously and recognizably in accordance with the pedagogical policy and Pyramid program
- Sensitive responsive approach: children are seen, invited to play, and guided individually
- Well-qualified staff with appropriate early childhood education (VE) certificates, language proficiency level 3F, and a training plan
- Thematic, inviting group rooms with diverse play materials
- Sufficient indoor and outdoor space (own grounds plus school playground)
- Structural parent involvement through parent portal, theme brochures, and parent intermediary
- Pedagogical policy staff member deployed with correct hour calculation and implementation
Shortcomings
- Hour registration for coaching and policy could be tracked more specifically per location
- Staff members sometimes experience insufficient capacity to provide all desired guidance due to a high number of target group children; management and coach are taking additional measures for coaching and group management
- Parent brochures are not yet distributed to all parents as standard; this is in preparation
Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Janneke in Dronten, part of Stichting Kinderopvang WildeWijs, was visited unannounced on 7 April 2026 for the annual inspection. The toddler care accommodates 32 children aged 2–4 years, divided into 2 core groups, and provides subsidized early childhood education (VE) through the Pyramid program. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all assessed requirements. The pedagogical practice is positive: staff members work consciously with themes, are sensitively responsive, and stimulate language development. The early childhood education (VE) provision is well organized with sufficient qualified staff, a training plan, and coaching by a pedagogical policy staff member. However, staff members indicated that due to the high number of target group children they are sometimes unable to provide all desired guidance; the coach and management are taking measures. The accommodation meets all requirements for indoor and outdoor space. No violations were identified.
