At Christelijk Gastouderbureau De Herberg, we help parents find a childminder (gastouder) who suits their family. Childminder care (gastouderopvang) offers small-scale childcare in a homely environment, with personal attention for every child. Our Christian childminders provide a safe and familiar environment where children feel at home. We guide the entire process from intake to placement and remain involved afterwards to ensure the quality of care.

Childminders throughout the Netherlands are affiliated with De Herberg, so always close to home. We have 15 childminder agency branches spread across the country. Care is possible at the childminder's home, but also at the parents' home. Our childminders live in many cities and regions throughout the Netherlands.

Christelijk Gastouderbureau De Herberg is a recognized and GGD-registered childminder agency. All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK), which means parents are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). We ensure that childminders meet all requirements of the Childcare Act and carry out annual risk assessments at care locations. Our placement staff are pedagogically trained professionals who safeguard the quality of care.

Gastouderland offers parents flexible and reliable childminder care (gastouderopvang) throughout the Netherlands. With 23 locations, you will always find a suitable childminder in your region. You receive personal guidance from a dedicated regional consultant who maps out your wishes and actively searches for a suitable match. All childminders are qualified, registered in the National Childcare Register, and meet strict safety requirements. You only pay for the actual hours of care and are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag).

Gastouderland has nationwide coverage with 23 locations throughout the Netherlands. Each region has its own consultant who is active locally and has access to a large database of qualified childminders. Our locations operate regionally and are spread across all provinces, from Groningen to Limburg and from Zeeland to Friesland.

Gastouderland meets all requirements of the Childcare Act and is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and Childcare Persons Register (PRK). Childminders and household members hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG). A risk assessment for safety and health is carried out annually at each childcare location. Gastouderland has an internal and external complaints procedure and is a member of the Disputes Committee.
