About this care
At BSO Almere Filmwijk - Kinderopvang Moviekids Almere, we offer a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 4 to 13. Our after-school care (BSO) is focused on supporting children while parents work, study, or pursue other activities. We believe in the importance of care and guidance, so that children can develop into independent, balanced, and resilient individuals.
Our childcare is open year-round, with the exception of official public holidays. We offer before-school care from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and holiday care during school vacations. We encourage children to respect each other and their environment, and we support them in making their own choices and working together with others.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) annual inspection of 3 February 2026 of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Moviekids Almere shows that the location meets all assessed quality requirements following a recovery offer. The childcare accommodates a maximum of 10 children aged 2–4 years, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The pedagogical practice is sound, with sensitive, responsive childcare professionals who provide children with emotional safety and organize challenging activities. Two shortcomings were identified: the distribution of coaching hours across locations was insufficiently transparent, and the safety and health policy was not sufficiently location-specific. Both violations have been resolved following a two-week recovery offer. There is a point of attention regarding the Alternative Parent Consultation. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
