About this care
Welcome to Partou Campus Caleidoscoop! Our daycare is located in primary school Caleidoscoop at Walt Disneyplantsoen 72 in Almere Filmwijk. We provide toddler care for children from 2 years old, where we discover the world through play and prepare children for primary school.
Discovery is central to our approach. In our cheerful group room, children can never get bored. We offer pre- and early childhood education according to the Pyramid program. We do this through targeted activities such as finger painting, reading picture books and shopping together. We also regularly make fun trips, for example to a performance.
Our green discovery garden outside is a favorite. Here children can climb, cycle and play. We are outside every day, because outdoor play is important for development. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great attention and warmth.
We work with a fixed daily schedule. The day starts with a welcome moment, followed by circle discussions about vacation or friends. Then there is time to play and discover. Around 10:45 AM we go outside. We end with making music and at 12:00 PM the children go home again.

Strengths
- Early childhood education is now being delivered in accordance with policy, including warm handovers to primary schools

- Optimise the sequence of hygiene and nappy-changing procedures to minimise the spread of germs
- Organise the use and refilling of cleaning spray bottles in a hygienic manner
Summary
Childcare location Campus Caleidoscoop in Almere was visited unannounced again on 4 March 2025 because violations had been identified during the annual inspection of 11 November 2024 in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff registration, and safety policy. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) now states that all shortcomings have been sufficiently resolved: early childhood education is being carried out in accordance with policy, all staff are correctly registered and linked in the PRK, and the safety and health policy is being followed in practice. A few minor points for improvement were noted, such as further tailoring activities to each child's developmental level and optimising hygiene routines during nappy changing. No new violations were found. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
