GGD Limburg-Noord conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection at BSO Mikadootje in Venlo on 29 January 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of Spring Kinderopvang, has been in operation since 5 January 2026 with 16 childcare places for children aged 4-13. The inspection assessed all areas for compliance with the Childcare Act. All assessed quality requirements were met, including administration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice demonstrates a warm, responsive approach in which children feel emotionally safe. No violations were identified. The only point of attention concerns the rooms not yet having been fully personalised in their layout, which is understandable given the recent start. This will be followed up at the next inspection.
