Summary
After-school care (BSO) Duizendpoot in Venlo, part of Spring Kinderopvang, was inspected for an amendment request to increase the number of childcare places. The inspection took place following an application to expand from 22 to 27 places. The location generally meets the quality requirements, but the requested increase to 27 places proved unfeasible due to insufficient indoor play space. A minimum of 94.5 m² was required, but only 93.57 m² was available. The holder therefore submitted a new request for 26 places, for which sufficient space is available. The outdoor play area (529.42 m²) more than meets the requirements. The pedagogical policy and the furnishing of the spaces were found to be in order.
