About this care
Welcome to Konijn & Ko BSO located at Hoeflingweg 22 in Lochem. We are an after-school care facility that operates 52 weeks per year, only closing on official holidays. Our BSO provides care for children aged 4 to 13 years.
Our Hoeflingweg location has a capacity of 60 childcare places and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since February 29, 2012 under number 133717586. We offer before-school care from 7:00 to 8:30 AM, including breakfast. After school, we provide after-school care until 6:00 PM, with the option to extend until 7:00 PM including dinner.
For children aged 6 to 10, we offer 'De Boefjes' on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Children aged 8 to 13 can attend our 8+ BSO on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. On Wednesday and Friday, all children are welcome at our main location on Hoeflingweg.
During holidays, we provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We work with professional and dedicated pedagogical staff who ensure your child feels safe and secure. Our care is flexible and you can use schedules that are known in advance, but incidental care is also possible.
We collaborate with all schools in Lochem, Nettelhorst, Barchem and Laren, allowing us to provide care on every school-free day regardless of which school your child attends. For more information about rates and packages, please refer to our website.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) Konijn & Ko in Lochem on 22 July 2026. The inspection focused on the change of legal structure of the operator. The location offers 60 childcare places. Although the childcare operation's working method did not change as a result of the change, the GGD found that the operator failed to report the change to the municipality without delay and had not requested a new legal entity Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG rechtspersonen). This violation also came to light at another location of the same operator. The operator has since initiated all actions to remedy this; the legal entity VOG has been submitted and entered into the Childcare Personnel Register (personenregister kinderopvang). All childcare professionals hold valid VOG declarations and are correctly registered. The GGD advises the municipality of Lochem to approve the request for amendment in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK).
