About this care
Welcome to De Kleine Draak Daycare, located at a quiet yet central spot on Stadhouderslaan 5 in Axel. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two horizontal groups: baby group De Toverdraak and toddler group De Knuffeldraak. Our location shares the building with Ukkepuk playgroup, creating a warm, homely atmosphere.
In baby group De Toverdraak we have plenty of space and materials to stimulate the very youngest. A mirror cabinet and sensory rugs are available, and when the weather is nice we play in our natural garden with sunken sandbox, grass and a grass hill. For the older children we offer a fixed daily rhythm with set times for fruit, sleeping and playing.
Toddler group De Knuffeldraak features two large group rooms and its own studio. We start the day with a circle where children greet each other and discuss plans. Free play, creative activities and daily outdoor play are central. All groups work with the VVE program SPOREN, in which we guide each child in our own personal way and make use of their talents and skills.
Our daycare is open during school holidays, so parents can rely on us all year round.Read more
