Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Hummeloord, located in the centre of Weesp at Jozef Israelsstraat 2. Our building is spacious and freshly decorated, with a large garden that has its own area for each age group. Children are free to watch and play with each other.
Hummeloord has 8 groups: 3 baby groups (0 to 2 years), 3 vertical groups (0 to 4 years) and 2 toddler groups (2 to 4 years). Similar groups are together in one wing, which gives the daycare a small-scale feel. Each wing has a shared kitchen and play area. This collaboration makes optimal use of the qualities of all staff members.
At Hummeloord all groups work on the same themes each year. We work with themes according to the Uk & Puk method. This location works according to the Pedagogisch Hart (Pedagogical Heart) of Kind&co ludens, focusing on four pillars: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment, and learning together in a mini-society.
